Prismatic Battery energy storage module PACK assembly production line mainly includes: battery cell feeding, battery cell treatment and testing, battery cell stacking, Busbar welding, heating film pasting, module testing, lower housing loading, connector installation, module into housing, copper wire harness installation, PACK testing, PACK offline packing, which can realize robot-based automation and information-based manufacturing.

Key Technology

1、Battery Cell Feeding: The battery cell feeding gripper adopts a fully compatible gripper. The battery cell clamping width can be adjusted according to the servo of different battery cells. One row of battery cells can be grabbed at each time. The gripper has a battery cell in-place detection and anti-fall mechanism, which has a higher cell grabbing efficiency, flexibility as well as compatibility.

2、Busbar Laser Welding: The welding adopts a double-station mode to achieve uninterrupted welding operations and improve the cycle. The robot drives the galvanometer lens to completely weld the busbar to the positive and negative polarity of the battery cell, then uploads the data to the MES system. The actual welding power, actual welding speed, actual defocus amount, gas shielding flow rate, etc. are monitored in real time and maintained locally, then the equipment automatically generates and saves this information so as to upload it to the MES system.

3、EOL test: Manually insert the test plug and automatically start the test; EOL test includes: BMS information and CAN communication test, AC impedance test, battery general voltage test, contact resistance test, DCDC test, BMS IO function test, etc.; Sequentially switch the test channels to complete all test items, and the data will be automatically uploaded to MES after the test is completed.
